I was looking to see where Steve was these days. Tried to track him down about 6 years ago when I think he was working for a community college. We shared a chap put out by Mealstrom Press in 1983. His side was called “Charlene Rubinski…” and it’s a prose piece that makes the Buk female. My side was called “Dry County in Texas” and is poems and prose poems about small town Texas life. Sad to see he is gone. We exchanged a few letters but never met.

im gonna try and buy this – differant types of poets aint there
couldnt never do that sitting down writing thing- was always out and about walking talking to myself -honestly-shouting- id walk all day-was travelling then – funny thinking back- gonna give it another go next year

that’s what happens if you hire a professional crew to take your pictures in stead of using your iphone… the lights is bounced with reflectors to fill the darker parts… to even out the light distribution on the subject… things like that
